Artist StatementMy visual expression is tuned to the inner dance of the soul. Color and composition are mood and movement. The source of tension and mystery is in the coexistence or alternation of seemingly opposites: progression and syncope, élan and hurdle, tenderness and command. Brush strokes are thick and thin following the inner movement of forms, shapes, and spaces. I work with complementary colors using light and shadow to describe the experience.
